God takes that which is lost and restores it. God desires to give us hope as we face difficulties, challenges and problems…He wants to transform us. That is my story, I was lost and God called me back. I finally listened and He changed my life and still is. I have sinned over and over again, and I felt as if I did not deserve God’s love or forgiveness. He thought differently. “Return to Me, declares the Lord, and I will return to you.” Zechariah 1:3
My name is Misti Sutton and I am a child of God, a wife, a mother of two adult children, a grandmother to four grands. I love everything outdoors: horseback riding, ranching, farming and I love homesteading stuff; like making soap, bread, yogurt, butter, canning, growing, sewing. We like to be as self sustainable as time allows. Because I have so many other passions I get a little bogged down at times, but hey…that’s ok! I love working with and training horses and helping other equestrians with their horses and improving their riding skills. I love being a mom, Mimi and a wife. I thank God for all of the above!
I love helping people, feel free to contact me if you have any questions about our website, about what we offer, or any random farm/homesteading/horse training/women warrior question you might have! I’m happy to help:)
The man who makes all of this happen, a cowboy since way back, the boss behind the Rafter S brand, is my husband Ricky Sutton. Ricky has been a cowboy since he learned to walk and talk. Roping, riding and cowboying throughout all of his life. Ricky became a dairy-man during his cowboying to earn extra income and because of his love for cows. He knows cow’s y’all! Tough as nails with a heart of gold, he keeps the ranch running and the cows milked. He is also my husband and best friend. Maybe you will meet him someday.
